Summer Term

Week 1 

We started the summer term, with a special theme day - ‘what would you like to be when you grow up?’ This links to our new topic ‘We can be Heroes!’ The children enjoyed sharing their future dreams and aspirations with each other and inspired many people throughout the school. In the coming weeks the children will learn about people who help us including, teachers, police officers, fire fighters and doctors/nurses.

Week 3 

The children were lucky enough to meet Police Officers and Firefighters who allowed us to explore their vehicles and equipment. The children learnt about the ways in which they help people in our community and how to respond in an emergency!
